IN COMEMERATION TO HER

Great things come in small packages. I am small myself, in-fact I think that every single family member have said this saying to me at least once to me. I never ever belived a word of that sentence because I never thought I was a great package. Why would they call me that, I woundered if I had a stamp on my forehead. All I saw in myself was a small insignificant person with no chance in making a differance in this screwed up place we call the world.

If I had still thought that same thing now I wouldn't be writing this. I remeber the frist day I got the mouse at the pet store. I looked in the male mice window first, then truned to my sister and asked her what are those big round things were hanging from thier butts. "BALLS" ,she didnt hesitate to say. I giggled and dicided mabey females would be better. As i peered into the female window I saw Little white mice running in wheels and scutering around. It was a pile of white. Only one dark brown mouse with one white spot on her back. It was love at frist sight. As I took her home I dicided on a name. I have always named my pets after food. This mouse's spot reminded me of wiped cream and her brown silky fur reminded me of chocolate so I named her Chocolate mousse, moosey for short.

The first night with her sat with her in my hands amazed at how small moosey was. Moosey was fagile, gracefull, beauteful,and kind. She was all those those things and so so so small. She never bit me once even though I was strange and new to her. That night something incredible happened, she feel asleep in my hands just as I thought this couldn't be any better.

She proceeded to be a great mouse. Moosey was great company. with my bother and sister both off to college I was an only child for the frist time with a new school and a new home and diffent freinds that i didn't know very well. Moosey was there when I didn't have a number to call when I was upset or home sick. I think she understood that i was in need of her comfort. She gave something to forward to when I got home form school.for my intire time she has help me though freshmen year and she did a wounderfull job of doing so. 6 weeks of my school year left and Chocolate mousse has gotten old and weak. She died last Friday May 9, 2008. I miss her so much. My heat throbs when ever I think of her. I don't feel an emptyness however because I she help me fill my life with meaning and I can never lose that. I love her now and forever.
